Srinivas Atluri is the Executive Vice President of Cyber Security at Anvaya Solutions, Inc. He leads all things cyber security services in the organization. He is actively involved in designing critical hardware-based security solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices. His practical and holistic approach to Cyber Security, combined with his ability to communicate complex security concepts to C-suite executives, has gained him a reputation for his advisory role to organizations of all sizes.
Srinivas has participated in many security incident response events working closely with legal, investigations, IT Operations, and Security Operations teams. Srinivas has conducted and led countless assessments and is convinced that all software code can eventually be compromised. He has worked on many sensitive and critical security projects during his service at Anvaya Solutions and other Fortune 50 companies.
Before joining Anvaya Solutions Inc. in 2014, Srinivas worked as a Senior Security Specialist and Risk Management Strategist at Intel Corporation for 12 years. There he was responsible for assessing the risk of both internal and external facing enterprise-wide web applications, application and platform security validation and risk mitigation, and incident management. At Intel, Srinivas participated in and led many investigations during breaches, developed security policies and procedures, and conducted security assessments. For seven years, he conceptualized and designed test equipment for Microprocessors and was a senior systems administrator at Intel.
Before moving to Intel, Srinivas designed packaging for powertrain control modules for General Motors for seven years. He developed and created products for the automotive industry at a small business. He has achieved many company-wide prestigious awards for his achievements at Intel and GM.
Srinivas has had a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification since 2006. Also, he holds Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) and GWAPT (GIAC Web Application pen Tester), highly recognized industry certifications in security. He holds a master's degree in engineering and has a U.S.USent in hardware security with four more pending.
Srinivas is a member of the High Tech Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), serves as an advisory board member of Infragard - a coalition between the FBI and civilians, and is a graduate of FBI Citizen's academy. He also is a member of industry organizations such as ISACA's ISC2 (ISC square).
Srinivas serves on cyber security panels and is a regular speaker at state-level cyber security symposiums held by the state of California and the University of California. He has delivered over half a dozen presentations and workshops at sold-out sessions. He also provides pro-bono seminars to small businesses in the Sacramento region.
As a very active community leader, Srinivas is passionate about mentoring youth, especially STEM. He has coached multiple robotics teams for middle and high school students and led the teams to 3 world championships and over 50 awards at various competitions. Srinivas has also mentored high school students for Cyber Patriot competitions which advanced three levels their first year. He has judged countless science fairs at all levels - local to international. In addition, Srinivas is very involved in Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scout Master and served as a Committee Chair for five years.
